need maxclarity help!!?
I've been using maxclarity for four weeks and my face is still breaking out! i don't know if its just not working or if i'm doing something wrong. For sunscreen i'm using banana boat and for a little while i used garnier moisture rescue refreshing gel-cream as a moisturizer. And i'm on lithium which has acne listed as one of its side effects. I'm just looking for answers as to why my face keeps breaking out, is it normal to break out when using maxclarity, suggestions for different sunscreens/ moisturizers, success/ failure stories for maxclarity, tips on how to use maxclarity, and maybe advice on other products. And the acne i have is blackheads, whiteheads, nodules, cysts, and the regular 'zits' (i don't know their proper name). And i do pick at them and pop them cause they look disgusting.
I suggest you go to the dermatologist. Max Clarity is for severe acne and is very harsh on the skin. Ask your dermatologist about giving you Duac or Epiduo, they both will make your skin be red & dry at first & break out more, BUT AFTER about a month and a half your skin will be defiantly clear! Don't use Banana Boat or Garnier moisturizers, they will clog your pores. Try Biore Dual Fusion Moisturizer SPF30, which you can buy at any local drugstore or online, it's a moisturizer with sun protection that does NOT clog pores, apply this AFTER you apply your dermatologist reccomended prescription.
Natural ways:
I also suggest you drink a lot of water (8-10 glasses per day)
Change your pillow case every other day
Take a multivitamin daily
Don't pick at your acne
